Hi, I’m Danny.
For years, I relied on cheap overseas merchandise suppliers to produce products for my business—tempted by the low costs, fast turnaround, and glossy sales pitches at international trade shows. Like many, I was drawn in by price tags without questioning what those prices truly represented.
But everything changed when I visited the source.
I travelled abroad to meet suppliers face-to-face and tour the factories that were manufacturing these products. What I witnessed was devastating. I saw people working in inhumane conditions—long hours, low wages, and minimal safety precautions. I breathed the air thick with pollution, stood beside rivers that had turned unnatural shades of grey and blue, and saw first-hand the environmental scars left behind by these industries.
I left those factories not just disappointed—but ashamed.
This website was born out of that awakening. It’s a platform to expose what’s really going on behind the scenes of “cheap” merchandise. It’s here to challenge the status quo, educate others who—like me—simply didn’t know, and to start conversations that lead to better choices.
Because we must ask ourselves: Cheap merchandise—at what cost?
If we want a sustainable future, we have to rethink what we buy, where it comes from, and who really pays the price.
